Last Alaska Post

Wednesday, April 30, was the last day of the IDEA convention. The convention was great--the people were friendly, and Daddy did a great  job during his workshops. To recap, we began the convention in Juneau, went to Kodiak, Anchorage, Fairbanks, and then ended in Soldotna. Pictured above are Steve, Debbie, and Tim who, along with the people pictured in my last post, are some of the wonderful people who run IDEA and the conventions. We are very thankful for the kind people in Alaska. They made us feel very welcome. We are also grateful for Deb Bell's friendship as well as her wisdom and great sense of humor.

After the Soldota show, we drove back to Anchorage. It was the same drive we did on Tuesday, except it was light the whole time. The water was amazingly green; I've never seen anything like it before. And yes, that's a rainbow on the bottom left of the mountain in the last picture. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Once in Anchorage, we checked in for our flights and then had dinner together. Our flights left Alaska around 11:00 P.M., and we flew all night. What an exhausting trip! Daddy flew to Oklahoma, and I am now at home loving being with my sweet girlies.

MANY THANKS to Grandma and Grandad, Auntie Beck, the Senecals, Amy Murphy, the Hughes and Williams families, Coleman, Wendy, Becky D., Mimi, and Patrick Murphy for all the meals, transportation, schooling, and many other ways you took care of the girls for us. We appreciate you! We are blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.
