Day 12 in Scotland, April 5

We went to St.Andrew's on Monday. We had to take two trains and a taxi to get there, but it was worth it!

  • We took a bus back to the train station from St. Andrews.

The Palace of the Holyroodhouse is where the Queen lives when in Edinburgh. We took the tour and got to see the rooms where Mary Queen of Scots lived.

The girls found the information on the recorded tour very interesting!














We heard that we needed to try a "fried Mars Bar" and found a place that makes them in Edinbugh. Basically, they take a Mars candy bar, dip it in batter,and then deep fry it. The chocolate melts, and it is delicious!

what a fantastic trip! taylor, you left out the part about all that shopping! the photos are beautiful - especially the ones of the beautiful girls! how grown up and pretty you all are. you look like you had so much fun! and i was happy to see some shots with melanie in them - yay!
